The police records section is responsible for holding agency records and reports. If you need to obtain a copy of a police report, records can assist you with this process.

 What records are available?

You may request copies of documents that are created and maintained by the Orting Police Department such as police reports, traffic citations, and administrative documents.   Please note that the Orting Police Department only handles police related business that occurs inside the city limits and does not maintain records that were created by other surrounding police agencies.    The following are records that are not maintained by the Orting Police Department:

In order to obtain copies of official police reports maintained by the Orting Police Department, you will be required to submit a request via our public records portal located HERE.
