The City of Orting has partnered with Pierce County Animal Control for Animal Services.

PET LICENSING

All dogs and cats living in Orting are now required to obtain a Pet License through Pierce County.     Licensing is easy and available at the Auditor's Office at 2401 S. 35th St. Room 200 Tacoma, WA 98409, or at any of Pierce County’s Pet Licensing Agents listed on the Pierce County Website.

ANIMAL CONTROL

Pierce County will now respond to animal control issues in Orting. Call (253) 798-PETS or visit the Pierce County website to report issues. Pierce County responds to a variety of calls, including:
