It is the mission of the Human Resources Department to support the City of Orting in achieving its goal thru its most valuable resource - our employees. 

The Human Resources Department provides centralized personnel services and responsive customer service in support of the city administrator, department heads, and employees. The department is responsible for a full range of comprehensive human resources services and programs to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the City including: recruitment, benefit administration, new employee onboarding, labor relations, training, personnel policy development and administration, personnel record management, and employee relations and recognition.
