Orting is proud to connect its citizens and its guests to the beautiful settings around us! You can do everything here from walking, running or biking on the Foothills Trail, to fishing in the close by rivers; skateboarding, dancing, Zumba, Belly Dancing and various sports with the picturesque backdrop view of Mt. Rainier!
Recreation is a part of an important social interaction; the activity itself and the gain in knowlege and skills from participation. We hope you join us in one or more of our programs. Make an investment in yourself, YOU are worth it!

Why have the Registration Fees gone up?
We are required to cover all costs to run our programs. Program fees reflect actual costs. In addition we must charge a new State Sales Tax that was implimented in 2012 for some programs. Orting Parks and Recreation does its best to keep the costs as low as possible for all ages.
