Message From the Mayor

The City of Orting has a “Strong Mayor” form of government. This means that the Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City and its administration. Most small city mayors work another job, so it is typical for them to appoint a City Administrator, a full time professional manager, to supervise the day-to-day activities of the the city.
