Johnny Hernandez began his law enforcement career as a Federal Special Agent and retired at the Tacoma office after 25 years of service. As a Special Agent he conducted thousands of felony investigations. He was the Special Agent In-Charge (SAC) at three different Field Offices responsible for the daily investigative efforts of 20 Special Agents. During his career he has accumulated over seven (7) years of specialized training in every category of felony investigations. He conducted eight (8) Presidential Protective Services operations guarding three different U.S. Presidents and several visiting foreign heads of state. In 1996, he became a Founding Member of the Federal Way Police Department as the Senior Crime Scene Investigator. In 2000 he was promoted to the position of Property/Evidence Supervisor for the Department. Presently, on a part time basis, he is the Property/Evidence Custodian for the Orting Police Department, Orting, WA.
